Tangible Industries is a startup company focused on 3D printing for surgical planning. We have recently completed the first clinical trial for 3D printing in the United States. Our results have shown a significant 63-minute average reduction in operating time for over 38 patients. Since 3D printing is not yet covered by reimbursement, we are investigating alternative methods for hospitals to finance the cost of this product. Our research has shown multiple ways this can happen; Surgeons can request funding, Hospital Administration can approve high-level support, and/or Surgical departments can approve equipment. Therefore, we are reaching out to our network seeking contacts in the following areas:
We are looking for surgeons in the following areas: Cardiothoracic, Plastic, Neuro, Hepatobiliary, and Renal.
We are looking for hospital administrators responsible for approving finances.
We are looking for surgical administrators responsible for approving equipment.
We would prefer the ability to talk; however, in lieu of a conversation, we have put together a short 5-10 minute survey which can be found here: Tangible Industries Medical 3D Printing Survey.
